SHOCK!!! Patrick Mahomes Take To Late-Game Mind Blowing Injury

The Kansas City Chiefs edged out the Atlanta Falcons 22-17 on Sunday Night Football, improving to 3-0 on the season. However, Chiefs fans had a brief scare when quarterback Patrick Mahomes appeared to tweak his left knee while sliding in the backfield late in the game. Mahomes explained the situation to NBC Sports sideline reporter Melissa Stark, saying, “The turf got me, man… I was trying to just take a knee and my foot got stuck, but I’m all good. I’m just glad we got a win.”

Despite the scare, Mahomes downplayed the injury and finished the game with 217 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception on 26-of-39 passing. Although his interception totals are trending upwards, with four through the first three games, the Chiefs were able to control the game, outgaining the Falcons in total yards (345 to 311) and dominating time of possession (34:57 to 25:03).
