According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, slot receiver Greg Dortch of the Arizona Cardinals is anticipated to play on Sunday at State Farm Stadium against the Detroit Lions, the reigning NFC North champions.
Due to a hamstring ailment, Dortch was listed on the injury report on Friday. As a result, the Cardinals considered him questionable for Sunday’s Week 3 game.
Both defensive tackle Dante Stills and offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum were classified by the Cardinals as questionable. Guard Graham Glasgow, wide receiver Isaiah Williams, cornerback Terrion Arnold, and linebacker Alex Anzalone of Detroit are also doubtful.
Dortch led the Cardinals in receiving during their Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills, hauling in six receptions on eight targets for 47 yards. In last week’s 41-10 victory over the Los Angeles Rams, Dortch had just two catches for 11 yards, but he may find a more favorable matchup against Detroit.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers slot receiver Chris Godwin tore through the Lions’ defense last week, racking up seven catches for 177 yards and a touchdown.
Dortch’s presence completes a Cardinals offense that quarterback Kyler Murray utilized to go 17-of-21 passing for 266 yards and three touchdowns last week.
Seven players had multiple receptions, including standout rookie Marvin Harrison Jr., who recorded four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
The Cardinals are aiming to start the season 2-1 for the first time since their 7-0 start in 2021.
