BREAKING NEWS: Kansas State Wildcats Land New coach

Kansas State has announced the hiring of Colleen Corbin as the new head coach of their women’s soccer program. Corbin, who has previously been named Coach of the Year in the Mountain West, will replace Mike Dibbini, who stepped down due to health reasons. Corbin has agreed to a five-year contract with the Wildcats. She comes to Kansas State after coaching at Wyoming and Saint Louis, bringing a wealth of experience and success to the program.

Corbin’s success includes her recent tenure as associate head coach at Saint Louis, where she helped guide the team to a 15-2-6 record, a conference championship, and a second-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Prior to that, she was the head coach at Wyoming, where she earned Mountain West Coach of the Year honors in 2022 after leading her team to a shared conference title. In her statement, Corbin thanked the university leadership for their support and emphasized the strong resources and community surrounding K-State soccer, signaling her optimism for the program’s future.
