Auburn football fans received a boost on Wednesday morning with the announcement that starting right guard Jeremiah Wright will be returning for another season. Wright made the announcement via social media, sharing a graphic that simply read, “I’m back.”
Wright was a key contributor to Auburn’s offensive line in 2024, starting all 12 games at right guard. His consistent play earned him high praise, as he was ranked as Auburn’s second-highest graded starting offensive lineman for the season according to Pro Football Focus. His return will be a significant positive for the Tigers, as they continue to build a solid foundation on the offensive line heading into the 2025 season.
With Wright’s return, Auburn still has a chance to keep all five starting offensive lineman if Izavion Miller takes advantage of the NCAA’s new JUCO ruling and returns to Auburn.
Along with returning starters Wright, Connor Lew, Bradyn Joiner, Dillon Wade, and potentially Miller, Auburn has added tackle transfers Mason Murphy and Xavier Chaplin, both of whom have Power Four starting experience.
