HUGE BOOST: UNC Confirms Return Of Another Top-Notch Fans Favourite

UNC is looking to build momentum as they face Pitt on the road, hoping to secure a second straight win after snapping their two-game losing streak. However, the Tar Heels are without junior big man Jalen Washington, who is sidelined with a sprained left knee suffered in their overtime victory against Boston College.

Despite the injury, Washington participated in pregame warmups, which could be a positive sign for his availability in Saturday’s rivalry clash against Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The 6-foot-10 forward had a breakout performance against Boston College, scoring a career-high 18 points while adding six rebounds and three assists before exiting the game.

Through 21 games this season, Washington has averaged 6.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 17.6 minutes per game, solidifying his role in UNC’s rotation.
