
Another Highly Experience star has signed a one-year contract with the Baltimore Orioles, which includes a $6.5 million team option for the 2026 season.
Announced on February 4, the deal guarantees Laureano $4 million and provides him with a hotel suite during road trips.
He can earn additional bonuses, including $100,000 for winning the MVP award, $75,000 for finishing second, and $50,000 for third place. He would also receive $100,000 for being named World Series MVP and $50,000 each for making the All-Star team, winning a Gold Glove or Silver Slugger, or earning League Championship Series MVP honors.
Last season, Laureano batted .259 with 11 home runs and 33 RBIs while playing for Cleveland and Atlanta. The Braves signed him on May 29, just four days after the Guardians released him. He earned a $5.15 million salary in 2023.
Over seven seasons with Oakland (2018-23), Cleveland (2023-24), and Atlanta, Laureano has a career .247 batting average with 82 home runs and 252 RBIs.
