Bill Belichick and the UNC football program have secured another key commitment on the recruiting trail.
Anthony Hall, a three-star offensive lineman and the top-ranked prospect from Massachusetts, has committed to North Carolina’s 2026 recruiting class. The 6-foot-4, 340-pound lineman chose the Tar Heels over Rutgers, finalizing his decision a few days ago, according to 247 Sports.
“They were always my top school, and academics were always a main factor,” Hall said. “They are one of the top schools in the country academically, and with the coaching staff they have right now, I believe they have a chance to do great things.”
Hall becomes the seventh member of UNC’s 2026 recruiting class and the second interior offensive lineman to commit. Since taking over in Chapel Hill, Belichick and his staff have prioritized building depth in the trenches. While transfers have played a major role in shaping next season’s roster, the staff continues to target recruits who can contribute to the offensive line in the coming years.
With his size and skillset, Hall is an exciting addition to the Tar Heels’ future plans.
