BREAKING NEWS: The Rangers Makes Another Groundbreaking Announcement

The New York Rangers revealed their Centennial Year logo today and announced plans to celebrate their 100th anniversary throughout the entire 2025-26 regular season.

The unique logo pays tribute to the team’s storied past by incorporating elements from the franchise’s 100-year history, including:

  • The shield outline is inspired by the Rangers’ original crest from 1926.
  • A dark royal blue shade reflects the color scheme used on Rangers shields between 1948 and 1976.
  • The bold “100” features design details from the team’s iconic jerseys, highlighted by classic red and white piping.
  • Inside the logo sits the current Rangers shield shape, updated with typography and a blue hue reminiscent of the team’s original 1926 look.

“Few franchises in sports are as iconic as the New York Rangers,” said Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury. “As a lifelong Rangers fan, and someone fortunate enough to have played for this team and now work in the front office, I understand how special it is to wear this jersey and represent the Rangers crest. As we approach our 100th year, we’re proud and excited to celebrate our history with our fans.”
