JUST IN: The Eagles Gets Big News As All-Pro Reacts To ‘Tush Push’ Ban

NFL owners and coaches are gearing up for the crucial league owner meetings, where key rule changes will be debated and voted on. One of the most talked-about proposals involves banning the Philadelphia Eagles’ controversial “Tush Push” play.

The modified quarterback sneak has been a hot topic due to Philadelphia’s remarkable success rate—converting it over 90% of the time in recent seasons. In contrast, other teams have been successful at a rate below 80%, a notable 10% difference. According to Dianna Russini, there is growing support around the league to ban the play entirely.

The debate over the Tush Push has been ongoing, but some believe removing it would be a mistake. Former All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman voiced his disagreement on Twitter.

“Banning the Tush Push? Not sure I agree with that,” Sherman said. “I really like the replay officials being able to pick up the flag on bad calls though.”

The Eagles used the Tush Push to great effect in their dominant 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, solidifying its place as a critical part of their offense. While the league is set to decide on its future this week, not everyone is on board with banning the play.
