The Duke Blue Devils captured the ACC Championship and advanced to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament, thanks largely to the standout performance of National Player of the Year Cooper Flagg. In his freshman season, Flagg collected numerous accolades, including ACC Player of the Year, ACC Freshman of the Year, and consensus first-team All-American honors. Widely projected as the top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Flagg also impressed off the court. On Tuesday, he was named one of seven Duke players selected to the All-ACC Academic Team. Joining him were Tyrese Proctor, Kon Knueppel, Khaman Maluach, Caleb Foster, Mason Gillis, and Sion James. With these additions, Duke now leads all programs with 120 total selections to the All-ACC Academic Team and has produced 15 honorees over the past two seasons. “Got 7 on the All-ACC Academic Team this year!” the program shared on social media.
Seventy-seven men’s basketball players received recognition, with Flagg being one of just 11 to also earn All-ACC honors.
To be named to the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 GPA for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative GPA throughout their academic career. They must also participate in at least half of their team’s games.
Stanford led all ACC schools with nine student-athletes honored, while Duke and NC State followed with seven selections each.
