ATHENS, Ga. — May 2, 2025 — The Georgia Bulldogs continued to fortify their future offensive line on Friday with a major in-state addition, securing a verbal commitment from Buford (Ga.) offensive lineman Graham Houston.

Houston, a 6-foot-5, 295-pound standout from one of Georgia’s premier high school football programs, announced his decision via social media. He chose the Bulldogs over offers from Alabama, Florida State, and South Carolina, among others.

“It’s a dream come true,” Houston said. “Growing up in Georgia, it’s always been a goal of mine to wear the red and black. The coaches, the culture, the competition—it all felt like home.”

A rising senior, Houston is ranked as a four-star prospect by multiple recruiting services and is widely regarded as one of the top offensive linemen in the Southeast. Known for his physicality, footwork, and football IQ, he’s expected to play guard at the next level, though his versatility gives Georgia options along the line.

Houston’s commitment is the latest win for Georgia offensive line coach Stacy Searels, who has been instrumental in building depth and talent in the trenches for head coach Kirby Smart. Houston becomes the fourth offensive line commit in Georgia’s 2026 class, which continues to trend toward the top nationally.

“Graham brings toughness, leadership, and a championship mentality,” Buford head coach Bryant Appling said. “He’s going to make an impact in Athens, no doubt.”

Buford High School has long been a pipeline for top collegiate talent, and Houston follows in the footsteps of several former Wolves who’ve made the leap to the SEC. With his commitment locked in early, he plans to focus on his senior season and lead Buford to another deep playoff run.

Houston is expected to enroll early in January 2026.
