Don’t Discount Wrexham in the Championship Next Season, Says Tony Pulis
Former Premier League manager Tony Pulis has thrown his support behind Wrexham’s bold Championship ambitions, insisting that a fourth successive promotion is not out of the question. The Welsh club, backed by Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, has enjoyed a remarkable rise from the National League to the second tier of English football in just three seasons. While many pundits expect Wrexham to simply aim for survival, Pulis believes they have the structure, support, and momentum to do much more.
Speaking to reporters this week, Pulis praised the club’s steady progress and professional set-up. “People have underestimated Wrexham before, and they keep proving them wrong,” he said. “There’s a strong core in that squad, and they’ve added quality at every step.
