Dolphins Top Free Agent Defender Target Speaks Out on Not Being Sign.
The Miami Dolphins may have brought in All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller, but they still have a glaring hole in their secondary. The team traded All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Pittsburgh Steelers in an exchange that landed them Fitzpatrick, which leaves the position lacking. Kader Kohou has emerged as a solid starter, but there are concerns with Storm Duck and rookie Jason Marshall Jr., who is slated as a starter on the current depth chart. There is a growing belief that the Dolphins will target a veteran cornerback, and their potential top target has now spoken out about not being signed. Former Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore remains unsigned by a team. He most recently spent a season with the Minnesota Vikings, where he secured 56 tackles, one interception, and nine passes defended in the 2024 season.
