CONFIRMED: Another Top Superstar Commits To Auburn Tigers

High school junior Zetta Grace Bartee from Charlotte, North Carolina, has verbally committed to Auburn University for the 2026-27 season, telling SwimSwam, “I can’t wait to be a part of the Auburn family!!!”

Bartee currently swims for Providence Day School and has recently joined the Mecklenburg Swim Association. She focuses on the butterfly and freestyle events. Recognized in the “Honorable Mention” section of SwimSwam’s “Way Too Early List” of top recruits for the high school class of 2026, Bartee stood out due to her impressive performances at the 2023 Winter Juniors East, where she represented SwimMAC Carolina. She finished 17th in the 200 fly (1:58.11) and 20th in the 100 fly (54.01), achieving personal bests in both. She also set a lifetime record in the 200 IM (2:04.19).

In early 2024, Bartee won the 200 free (1:49.34) and claimed the state title at the North Carolina Independent Schools Division 1 State Championships, along with a 3rd place finish in the 100 fly (55.15). As the long course season began, she earned several top-8 finishes at the Greensboro Sectionals (6th in the 100 free, 5th in the 200 free, 4th in the 100 fly, and 5th in the 200 fly). Competing with SwimMAC, she capped off her summer with personal bests in the LCM 100 free (57.81), 200 free (2:04.89), 100 fly (1:00.98), and 200 IM (2:21.73) at the Minneapolis Futures.
