GOOD NEWS: Auburn RB Super Target Confirms Commitment, Unexpected Week Five Availability Report

A 4-star running back prospect updates his commitment date in today’s Auburn Tigers News, and Auburn football releases an availability report ahead of its game against Oklahoma.

A long-time running back target for Auburn football, 4-star RB Ousmane Kromah, has delayed his commitment date. Initially set to announce his decision on Saturday, the impact of Hurricane Helene has caused complications. Kromah will now make his announcement next Saturday, October 5, when Auburn faces Georgia in Athens.

At this stage, Auburn and Georgia appear to be his top choices, but with Auburn’s recent struggles on the field, the Bulldogs may have the edge.

Hailing from Leesburg, Georgia, Kromah is ranked as the #11 recruit in the state and the #5 running back in the 2025 recruiting class.

Auburn football shares availability report ahead of the Oklahoma game

The Auburn Tigers are gearing up for week five of the college football season, coming off two wins and two disappointing losses. This weekend, Oklahoma will visit Jordan-Hare Stadium for the first time following their SEC debut against Tennessee last week.

Auburn has been dealing with a number of injuries, and several key players are expected to be unavailable for the matchup against the Sooners. According to On3, the following players are on Auburn’s availability report:

– DB Tyler Scott – Out
– DB Champ Anthony – Out
– TE Brandon Frazier – Out
– DL Isaiah Raikes – Questionable
– K Alex McPherson – Questionable
– OL Izavion Miller – Questionable

Tyler Scott’s injury from fall camp will sideline him for the entire season, while Champ Anthony, after a severe leg injury last week, is expected to use a medical redshirt. On a positive note, freshman wide receiver Cam Coleman, previously dealing with a shoulder injury from week two, has been cleared and removed from the injury list.

Auburn and Oklahoma will kick off at 2:30 p.m. at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
