
Greenville, NC – The highly anticipated series opener between East Carolina University (ECU) and the University of North Carolina (UNC) has been postponed due to inclement weather. Originally scheduled for Friday, February 21, 2025, at Clark-LeClair Stadium, the game will now be played on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 5 p.m.
ECU Athletics announced the rescheduling on Thursday, citing safety concerns and unfavorable playing conditions. The decision was made in coordination with UNC and event officials to ensure optimal playing conditions for both teams and a better experience for fans.
The remainder of the series remains as originally planned:
- Saturday, February 22 – Game 2 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, Durham, NC (12:30 p.m.)
- Sunday, February 23 – Game 3 at Boshamer Stadium, Chapel Hill, NC (1:00 p.m.)
