JUST IN: Angels Star Mike Trout Sparks Trade Speculation With Cardinals Message

Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout has experienced a lot throughout his 15-year major league career. A three-time MVP, 11-time All-Star, and a future Hall of Famer, Trout has spent his entire career in the AL West. He doesn’t often get the chance to play in St. Louis against the Cardinals, but when he does, it’s a trip he seems to enjoy.

Busch Stadium, which opened in April 2006 with a seating capacity of 44,383, is consistently ranked among the top ballparks in Major League Baseball. St. Louis itself is often recognized as one of the best cities in the U.S. due to its affordability, strong economy, and central location.

In an interview with Joey Schneider of FOX2Now, Trout spoke fondly of St. Louis. “I love coming here,” he said. “I love playing here. Obviously, when Albert was here, he talked up so much about it. When I saw the schedule come out and saw that St. Louis was on the schedule, I circled it. I always love coming here.”

Trout was referring to his former Angels teammate Albert Pujols, who spent his first 11 seasons with the Cardinals before signing a massive 10-year, $255 million contract to join the Angels.

Trout’s comments have sparked trade speculation among fans. “He’s a Cardinal,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Mike Trout to the Cardinals confirmed.” Some fans joked about the possibility, saying, “Time to fleece the Angels again,” while others speculated, “He wants out of Anaheim for sure” and “Future Cardinal.”
