On Thursday, the Bears wrapped up their last mandatory minicamp practice with something fun: they let the offensive linemen try to catch passes during drills. It was pretty amusing watching the centers, guards, and tackles sprint up the sideline trying to grab the ball from the quarterbacks.
Well, most of them tried anyway.
When backup QB Tyson Bagent was asked about who stood out, he just laughed and said, ‘Nobody I threw the ball to, at least.’ That got a big laugh from everyone around.
But right tackle Darnell Wright really stole the show with an amazing catch. He snagged the ball out of the air with one hand and spun around before hitting the ground. Quite the move!
