The Minnesota Vikings made it clear that their rocky offseason wouldn’t affect their performance in the opening week of the 2024 NFL season. They overpowered the New York Giants in all aspects, securing a 28-6 win on Sunday.

They’ve now added a big long-term player to their defense.

Minnesota Vikings Agree To Huge $20M Signing After Win Vs. Giants

As stated by The NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero:

According to reports, the Vikings are about to sign veteran defensive tackle Harrison Phillips to a two-year contract deal worth up to $19 million, with over $13 million guaranteed.

Phillips, who was nominated for the 2023 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, has a contract with Minnesota through 2026.
