REPORT: Josh Allen, Bills Unexpected Take on Return of Two Veterans

When the Buffalo Bills host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night to wrap up Week 3 of the NFL season, they’ll welcome back two long-time veterans. Gabe Davis, who has been with the Bills for four seasons and played a key role in their AFC East victories, will face off against the quarterback who helped launch his NFL career after signing with the Jaguars in the offseason. Additionally, former center Mitch Morse will return to Buffalo, where he earned Pro Bowl honors in 2022, after signing a two-year deal with Jacksonville.

For quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills, the return of both players on Monday night is expected to be a special occasion. “These are two guys I’ve spent a lot of time with over the last few years,” Allen said. “They mean a lot to me, not just on the field but off it as well. I consider them very close friends. The conversations we’ve had over the years are something I wouldn’t trade for anything.” It will be a homecoming for two members of the Jaguars, who are currently 0-2, but the Bills know they still have a lot to prove as they move forward.
