INJURY BLOW: Red Sox’s Highly Talented Star Out For The Rest of The Season

Rafael Devers is focused on becoming the best version of himself for the Red Sox in the 2025 season. After struggling with persistent shoulder injuries throughout the current campaign, he was placed on the 10-day injured list on Saturday, which means he will miss the final eight games of the season due to shoulder inflammation.

In his first comments to the media since the injury, Devers said, “Things happen. It’s part of the game. It happens to many players. I’m not frustrated; it’s just a bit disappointing. At the same time, you have to deal with it,” speaking through a translator as reported by NESN.

He also confirmed that neither of his shoulder issues will require offseason surgery. Meanwhile, the Red Sox secured a series win on Sunday with a doubleheader sweep of the Minnesota Twins. They will conclude their 2024 schedule this week, starting with a three-game series against the rival Toronto Blue Jays on Monday.
