McAfee remains actively involved in the Pittsburgh area and with the Steelers, having hosted a sold-out event at PPG Paints Arena in April. He frequently features Steelers players and coaches on his show, including quarterback Aaron Rodgers, a regular guest.

Public practices at Steelers training camp begin on Thursday, July 24. All sessions will be open to fans until the team travels to play the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 9. After that, three more open practices will be held before the Steelers return to Acrisure Stadium for a joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They will then host Tampa Bay in their only preseason home game.
